As a founding member of the Trailblazers at Moravian College, I felt a need to create and maintain a brand for our up-and-coming club. This meant designing a logo, t-shirts, buttons, water bottles, a scrolling website. The concept behind it was to create a modern feeling website that would attract the younger college aged user, but also be easy enough for a parent with children to use. I felt that a single page was therefore the best format for the site. It would be simple to navigate and everything is right in front of the user rather than hiding within other pages. I created a survey to help the user find an appropriate hike for them, rather than sending them out blind into the wilderness because we are all about insuring user experience even when they leave out site and start exploring.
Along with my own design, the website features photography that I have taken on multiple hikes around Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
